Privacy policy

Tasks, plans, and activity

Task titles, notes, schedules, focus time, progress, and preferences are stored on your device. The app shares necessary information with its widgets and Siri extension through local shared storage. Onboarding activity records also stay on the device and are not sent to the operator’s server. Scheduling suggestions are calculated locally; task content is not sent to an external AI service.

Calendars

When you enable calendar integration and grant iOS permission, Doendar reads events from your selected calendars to display them and avoid scheduling conflicts. External events are not saved in the Doendar task database, and Doendar never changes or deletes them on its own: tapping one opens Apple’s standard editor, where any change is yours. If you turn on export, Doendar adds copies of its own plans to the calendar you choose and updates or removes only those copies. You can change access in iOS Settings.

Sign-in (optional)

If you sign in with Apple or Google, Doendar stores the account identifier, email address, and name that service returns in your device’s Keychain. None of it is sent to the operator’s server. Google sign-in uses the system web sheet and asks only for basic information (openid, email, profile). Apple’s or Google’s privacy policy applies to their sign-in processing. Every feature works without signing in. Settings > Account > Unlink removes what was stored.

Siri, widgets, and alarms

Words passed from Siri or Shortcuts are used to create tasks. Processing performed by Apple, including Siri speech recognition, is subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Widgets may show your tasks and plans. The app requests the necessary system permission when you set up alarms.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app payments. Doendar uses transaction information provided by Apple to verify Pro access. The operator does not receive your credit card number.

Website and support

The published website is delivered by Cloudflare, which may process IP addresses and request information to deliver and secure the site. We do not add proprietary analytics, advertising trackers, or an email signup form. If you contact support, we use your email address and message to respond and resolve the issue. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information or task content.

Retention and deletion

Completed tasks normally show for seven days, but older records remain on your device and are not automatically deleted. You can delete unwanted tasks in the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data; Apple-managed backups and other system retention depend on your settings. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and removed when no longer needed.
